Re: Health Reform Dialogue proposal on health reform
Finance Committee Chairman Baucus issued the following statement today, following the announcement of areas of common ground reached by the Health Reform Dialogue, a coalition of groups representing employers, workers, physicians, nurses, consumers, insurers, public health professionals, and others.
From Chairman Baucus:
“I'm pleased to see health care providers, the business community, and consumers bringing health reform ideas to the table,” Baucus said. "More voices, more enthusiasm, and more ideas like the ones announced today ? only add to the momentum for achieving comprehensive health reform. You can bet I'll be working closely with these groups, and everyone who brings ideas to the table, as we put pen to paper on health care reform in the coming weeks and months.”
