Chairman Baucus announced that the Finance Committee will meet in Open Executive Session on Thursday, June 13, 2002, at 10:00 a.m to consider favorably reporting the following items: A substitute for H.R. 7, to provide tax incentives to promote charitable giving; S. 2498, the Tax Shelter Transparency Act; and S. 2119, the Reversing the Expatriation of Profits Offshore Act.

Written Statements: Any individuals or organizations wanting to present their views on these hearings to the committee are urged to submit a typewritten, single-spaced, single-sided statement, not exceeding 10 pages in length, for inclusion in the hearing record. The date and subject of the hearing must appear on the first page of the statement.
