Subcommittee to Hold Hearing on the Electric Power Industry

WASHINGTON -- Senate Finance Committee Chairman William V. Roth, Jr. (R-DE) today announced that the Finance Committee Subcommittee on Long-Term Growth and Debt Reduction, under the Chairmanship of Senator Frank H. Murkowski (R-AK), will meet on Tuesday, October 19, 1999 at 9:30 a.m. in 215 Dirksen Senate Office Building to hear testimony on federal income tax issues relating to the restructuring of the electric power industry.
