Washington, DC – U.S. Senator Max Baucus (D-Mont.), Ranking Member of the Senate Finance Committee, issued a statement this afternoon following the White House signing ceremony for tax reconciliation legislation:
“Now that this ceremony is over, hopefully Congress can turn to more immediate tax policy concerns that were ignored in this bill. I’ll work with my colleagues to craft a second bill that helps American families, college students, small businesses and teachers who need tax relief today.”
