Re: Letter requesting release of TANF regulations

Please be advised: Senators Baucus and Grassley sent the letter attached to this release on Monday of this week, requesting thetimely release of regulations regarding work activities under the Temporary Assistance for Needy FamiliesProgram. The release of the regulations will inform the Finance Committee’s oversight of the TANF program, and will give states basic information necessary to serving families moving from welfare to work.
