WASHINGTON — Senate Finance Committee Chairman William V. Roth, Jr. (R-DE) today announced that the Committee will mark up the second revenue reconciliation bill on September 7. The subject will be retirement security, and will include provsions that increase the annual IRA and 401(k) contribution caps; make it easier for small businesses to offer pension plans; and pension portability and simplifications measures.
The mark up will take place at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 7 in room 215 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building.
