Crapo: OBBB Makes Americans More Prosperous
Boise, Idaho--During the Senate state work period, Senate Finance Committee Chairman Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) spoke at an Idaho event with Americans for Prosperity (AFP) to discuss the ways the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBB) builds on the Trump tax credits by making provisions permanent and delivering additional middle-class tax relief.
The OBBB:
- Fulfills President Trump’s promises like no taxes on tips and no taxes on overtime.
- Creates new and significant tax relief for our seniors.
- Benefits families with a bigger, permanent child tax credit, expanded child care benefits and the first ever federal school choice tax credits.
- Benefits businesses with a permanent 20 percent small business deduction and full expensing for factories and capital equipment.
“The One Big Beautiful Bill is significant and sweeping, and it is probably one of the most consequential pieces of legislation most of us will have worked on in our lifetimes,” Crapo said.
