ADVISORY: TRADE MARK UP AGENDA CHANGE
Mark Up to be Split into Two Days
WASHINGTON -- Senate Finance Committee Chairman William V. Roth, Jr. (R-DE) today announced that the agenda of tomorrow's trade mark up will only include H.R. 1833, The Customs Authorization Act of 1999 and The Steel Trade Enforcement Act. The mark up will begin at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, in 215 Dirksen Senate Office Building.
The other items on the agenda, The Generalized System of Preferences Extension Act, The Trade Adjustment Assistance Reauthorization Act and The U.S. Caribbean Basin Trade Enhancement Act will be marked up on Tuesday, June 22 at 10:00 a.m. in Dirksen Senate Office Building. The Committee will also include The African Growth and Opportunity Act on that day.
